; the statutory meeting. The statutory meeting ol the Patua Co-operative Dairy Company was held at lie factory on Thursday arcernop, Mr. W. Honeyfield presiding over a good attendance of shareholders. It was reported that the total expenditure to date, including purchase of land, buildings, plant, etc., amounted to £3250 5s Id. Eighteen hundred shares had now been taken up in the company. It was decided that the number of directors be limited to seven, and the following nominations were received: Messrs. W. Honeyfield, V. E. McAllum, W. Coombe, E. Dougherty, G. G. Grover, W. D. Linn, G. A. Adlam, and J. J. Gyde. A poll was taken and resulted as follows: —W. Coombe 76, W. Honeyfield 70, E. Dougherty 6!), D. R. McAllum 68, G. A. Adlam 58, G. G Grover 58, W. D. Linn 55, J. J. Gyde 39. The seven highest were declared elected. Mr. E. P. Webster was elected auditor at a fee of £5 as. The chairman's honorarium was fixed at £2O, and it was decided that the directors receive 10s for each meeting held in town.
