EPIDEMICS RAMPANT. RAVAGES OF CHOLERA AND TYPHUS. Received Sept. 10, 10.20 p.m. Rome. Sept. 10. It .3 stated, in relation to Austria and Germany putting out peace feelers, that it is impossible to further hide the truth that cholera and typhus are raging in the central empires, and have grown in alarming proportions. In twenty days there have been 7-127 cases of cholera in Austria, whereof 3295 were fatal. Cholera is widespread in Galieia, and typhus has a strong hold in Upper and Lower Austria. The mortality in Germany is alarming. Efforts to combat the plague are inadequate, and contamination is we&dicg.
