MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Sept. 4. By a collision in the Avenue this morning between a motor car and a motor cycle, the rider of the latter, a youth named Lampitt, sustained severe injuries, including a badly smashed nose. He was sent to the hospital. DEATH FROM POISON. Masterton, Last Night. Louisa Taplin, a widow, aged fiftysix, took a dose of poison, yesterday, and died shortly afterwards. At the inquest a verdict of death through poison selfadministered, while in a delicate state of health, was returned.
