London, Sept. 3. Mr. Bathgate estimates the world's wheat crops for 1915-16 at 485,500,000 quarters. The New York Exchange has recovered to 4 dollars 64J cents. This is attributed to supporting orders placed by important interests connected with the Allied Governments. Sydney, Sept, 4. There are seventeen cases of smallpox on the list at Newcastle.
