The gamo was very olose for. the first nine holes, when O'Callaghan struck his best form, and, winning several holes, in succession, wound up by securing a viotory, 4 up and 2 to play. P. D. MCuord, formerly a member of the New Plymouth Club, was third in a medal handicap at Fishermen's Bend Course (Melbourne) wifli a score of 88, nett 78. 0. Datnman, with 81, h»d the best gross score.
