ALL WOOL VERSUS SHODDY. For some time past, especially since the outbreak of war and consequent high prices of wool, there lias been n persistent effort on the part of wholesale houses and certain retail firms to foist shoddy clothing on the public at very much inflated prices. That there is no justification for this beyond a predatorv desire to exploit the public is evidenced by the fact that the Melbourne Clothing Company is still Belling the following all pure wool colonial clothings at antewar prices. For instance: Moii'b Kaiapoi suits, 29s 6d; boys' Petnnc Norfolk suits, size 7, 15s fld, to size 14, 18s fid; men's Pttone tweed suits, 37s Od; men's P'Lone addle tweed suits, 39s Od; men's Roslyn b«axi »uIU, 35i i boys' Roslyn uport (putt. *l« 8, Rh Gfl !i|) to slfe 1) Ms 6i.
