An extraordinary general meeting of ' the Rahotu Dairy Co. was held at the ' factory on August 27, about 20 share- ' holders being present, when the follow--1 ing resolutions were dealt with:—"That ' one share be taken up for every 851bs of fat supplied"; second, ''That directors be paid 7s Cd a day per meeting, and the chairman £lO per year"; third, - "That interest be paid oi> fully-paid-up i shares at the rate of a per cent, per annum.'' Mr. Wright moved an amendment to the first resolution—"That one share be issued for every 1-51 bg of fat supplied during the month of December," On being put to the meeting, this was carried. Mr. Gibson suggested that the resolution relating to the chairman being 1 paid £lO be altered to £li, which was ' carried. Resolution No. 3 was carried without - amendment. The directors met eight butter and dices;: represenatives at the hotel in the ■ evening, but owing to open consignment • being tiie only alternative, it was de- - cided lo deal with the matter at a later i date. , ' Tuesday's tea was prepared by all - young matrons, Mesdames X. Morgan, i Field, X. Dawson and M. Mil. The » takings amounted to about £5. Must dames Hopkins, Tylce, Tyrrell and Unipman are preparing the next. Sir. W.
