Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday our pens were taxed to their utmost with birds of all classes. Prices were considerably in advance of the previous week's, and we would advise anyone having poultry to dispose of to do so while the market is good. (Prices last Saturday were as follows:—Hens, young, 2s Id to 2s/Bd, fat 2s 6d to 3s 2d; cockerels, young, Is lOd to 2s 7d, fat 2s 4d to 3s; pullets, laying, 2s 8d to 4s Id; ducks, 2s 6d to 3s Id, drakes 2s 4d to 2o 9d, turkey hens 5s to 5s 6d, gobblers 7s 6d to 89. .
