THE CORINNA. The Corinna leaves Nelson to-day and arrives early to-morrow morning, leaving for Wellington the same afternoon. THE ENNERDALE. The Ennerdale is expected to arrive here to-day from Newcastle. THE NGATORO. The Ngatoro arrived from Greymouth yesterday evening with a cargo of coal. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Corinna, from south, about Friday, Rarawa, from north, Friday. Ennerdale, from Newcastle, Saturday. NOTES. Mr. W. M. Glover, late of the Union Company's Sydney office, is now assistant purser of tWe Warrimoo, Dr. McCubbin, who arrived at Wellington last week from Melbourne by the Wimmera, is to join the lonie at Auckland this week as ship's surgeon. Captain Ritchie, late of the Arahura, is now master of the Tarawera in place of Captain Doorly, who is on the Talune. It is stated that the s.s. Warrimoo, the Monowai, Waitemata and the Navua are to be withdrawn from the ordinary service. The Monowai is at present running in the Wellington-Lyttelton ferry service, but she will be replaced by the Mararoa. Mr. A. H. Wishart, second engineer Qf the Warrimoo, transferred to the Kanio yesterday as chief engineer in place of Mr. A. R. Watson. The latter has joined the Wairuna as chief engineer, as Mr. McCallam, who occupies that position, has been ordered a rest owing to illhealth. A fourth steamer, the British-India s.s. Carpentaria, with an insulated capacity of 93,000 freight carcases, has been secured by the Shipowners' Committee to load meat dn New Zealand during the month of September. This is additional to the three vessels announced the other day as to load meat here in SeptemberOctober.
