Before that time expires a compulsory conference will be called. LABOR FOR FARMERS. Sydney, Sept. 1. Mr, Eetell considers that sufficient harbor labor will be available in the country. Owing to the slackness of shearing, it will be necessary to assist farmers with military and city workers. NEW MAIL SERVICE. Melbourne, Sept. "1. Mr. Fislier considers Mr. Nielson's suggestion for a new mail line Bliould stand over till the end of the war. If the Government decides to grant assistance it will probably favor a Canadian rather than the San Francisco route. PUBLIC SERVICE ON FULL TIME. Perth, Sept. 1. The Premier announced that full time in the Government service will be resinned from October 1.
