The first meeting of the newly-elect-ed Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association was held this afternoon, when the following' officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. P. Selig; vice-president, Mr. 11, F. Nicoll; Hon. treasurer, Mr. W. J. Hopkins; licensing committee, Messrs W. G. Garrard and W. 11. Denton; colors committee, Messrs H. W. Kitchingham and T. T. Ritchie; appeal committee, the president, -vice-president, and Mr. H. W. Kitchingham; foreign lioise committee, Messrs W. G. Garrard and T. T. Ritchie; examiner in Christchuroli of foreign horses, Mr W. G. Garrard: auditor, Mr. 0, J. Marshall, MARTON RACING CLUB. Marton, Last Night. For the Marton spring meeting to-day the weather was showery. There was a good attendance, and the totalieator put through £14,045, aii increase of £1240 on the corresponding day last year.
