"THE FLYING FOX." DEATH OF A FAMOUS AVIATOR. Received Sept. 1, 7.20 p.m. London, Sept. 1. Fegoud, the well-known aviator, has been killed. Adolplie IPegoud, known amongst airmen a.5 "the Flying Fox," was probably the moist renowned of aviators. He first came into prominence by his feats of "looping the loop," and flying upside down in a Bleriofc monoplane, in 1913. He served in the French campaign in Morocco in 1907, and entered tlie French Army Flying Service in 11)13.
