Todd Bells is a handsome dark chestnut, standing 15-3; a straight-out trotter with beautiful action, and exceptionally good tempered. An. aristocrat of his 'line, with purple lineage second to none, and inherits the speed and foal-getting qualities of his sire— Abbey Bells. The sire of Todd Bells was a straightout trotter, and has a public trial of 2.15 at 3 years. He is also the sire of Grattan Bells, champion 2-year old trotter of Australasia, record 2.29; Delavan Chimes, champion 2-year-old pacer, Australasian record 2.265; Laughing Bells, 2.29; Charming Bell, 2.32; Twinkle Bells, 2.33. All these records were put up as two-year-olds. Countess of Todd clam of Todd Bells, is ihe only mare in/AustraJasia by that remarkable young sire Todd (2.(4), who was sold by auction in* America for £6OOO. Todd is by Bingen (2.6}), sire of Uhlan (f.54)» the world's champion straight-out trotter, The stamina of the family is undeniable, This is the stock to breed to, This is your opportunity. At 3 years old he started four times at Wangantii Trotting Club's Easter Meeting, securing three wins and a second. The public have not seen this horse's best performance yet.
