The New Plymouth office of tho Union Company advise that the Entierdale is expected from Newcastle on Saturday with about 1300 tons of coal and sulphates.

RARAWA TO BE OVERHAULED. The Rarawa will leave Onehunga for Auckland on Saturday, September 18, for her annual inspection, and she will bo away a fortnight. During that time the Rimu will take up her running, leaving Onehunga on Monday, September 20. at 2 p.m. Intending passengers are asked'to note that no steerage tickets will bo issued for s.s. Rimu. VICTORIA TROUBLE SETTLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The trouble with the crew of the Victoria was settled to-day. By an agreement the men shall sign in New Zealand articles to observe the New Zealand agreement, with a clause that no member shall be discharged in Australia, except by mutual consent of the men, and shall also receive pay as from Friday last.
