QWING to members of the New Plymouth Volunteer Fire Brigade having gone on active service, and others having removed from the district, there are several vacancies in the Brigade for smart, active men, single, and ineligible for the fighting line. The Board is now able to provide for such volunteers excellent bedroom accommodation at the new Fire Station, together with other advantages not usually available in private lodgings.
