RIVA BOMBED. ALPINTS SUOCESSE& Received August 29, 2.20 p.m. Rome, August 28. Official: In new operations on the Adamelles Range our Alpinists captured Coldilagoseuro and Coinobebole, which the enemy strongly held. Our artillery bombarded Gherz and Arabba, where there is much movement of troop?, transports and artillery. Arabba is burning. Our hydroplanes, taking advantage of a full moon, bombed Riva and returned safely. PROGRESS REPORT. Received Augu3t 30, 12.23 a.m. Rome, August 2>9. A communique state.?: Our artillery made some effective hits against the encampments in Zepeuja, valley, and against columns of troops and transport waggons en the march in the upper Isonzo. W j also bombarded troops that were marching near Doberdo. We found in the captured trenches on the Ursuc ridge at Monte Nero two machines that were apparently used for shooting liquid fire.
