KXTERTAINMEXT AT WBSTOWX. Westown came into line with other parts of New Plymouth and district yesterday when it launched its big effort at the Westown Hall on Behalf of the Belgian Fund. The entertainment, which was organised hy the residents of Westown. filled the afternoon and evening, and in that lime patrons were provided with ample entertainment, while, opportunity was not lacking to enable them to show their sympathy with the Belgians by generously distributing "I he silver' bullet." The proceedings opened with n gift auction, which occupied most of the afternoon, while in the evening an enjoyable concert and ilancc-'.i ith an interval for a, brief session of a "mock court"—was held.
