Aha looks the best of a Ibad lot in the Wavcrley Hunters' Hurdles, and is not weighted with overmuch "pudden." Gentlemen riders will be up in the Eg-mont-Wanganui Hunt Steeple, Hunters' Hurdles, Hunters' Flat Race, and Ladies' Bracelet Steeple. Where will they come from; Although the steeplechase fences arc big at Waverlcy they are well constructed. Good wings, take-off and landing show that Mr. J. knew his work well. The first of the Hallomas foals running at Bushy Pank is a ibay filly out of Vivandel. She is a beauty, and looks like carrying Mr. A. Alexander's colors with distinction when the time .comes. . One of the best races at Wavcrley should be the Kakaramca Hack Handicap. Iceberg' is .well treated, and Wel-~cenw-N«gset's .owncr.-.trainer has nothing to complain of either. If amateur riders can be secured, a good field should contest the Ladies' Bracelet Steeple. . There should be some fun here, and possibly a decent dividend. , Bally Rahine. (late Black Boy) ..has a jumper's chance. Warea 'is Ibound to have a lot of supporters' in the Hunters' Flat Handicap. If anything gives the, top-weight a stretched neck it may be Durane, or possibly Formosus.' It'•■; looks nice on paper, anyhow.
