EXPLOSION AT RUBBER WORKS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, August 25. Six girls and a man were injured at the Pcrdrian rubber works when a vulcaniser, which was filled with methylated spirits, exploded. One of the girls has since died. It appears work was proceeding as usual when the vulcaniser exploded, driving the cylinder across tlie room, and taking oft' a girl's ear. Tlie roof was blown off, and one of the walls fell in. The occupants were hurled in every direction, The fire was soon extinguished,
