Butter. —The market is firm. The loss .of a stea?ner with 28,000 casks of .Siberian butter has made the market firmer. Banish, in small demand, is bring 109s to 1725; Siberian, in good demand, but little offering, 134s to 1303; Irish creamery, firm, 150s to 160s, unsalted 160s to l(12s. Cheese.—The market is very quiet, and prices are irregular. Canadian, quiet, 73s to 755, according to quality and condition, exceptionally 85s; English Cheddar, quiet, !Hs; the New Zealand market is quiet, but steady, at 73s to 755.; United States, quiet, 08s to 70s, but if not in nood condition is selling at 62s to (ins. Hemp The market is quiet, but stofrffti ims>vt\ jfceftliiS:! fjilr grade' £32 10s, fair £-30 10s, forward shipment quoted at same price; Manila new graded, fair, £3B. The output from Manilff for the week was 23,000 bales. Wheat. —The market is weaker and slightly lower. It is reported that the Canadian crop is large and of good quality. Canadian, old crop on passage is bringing per quarter 555, new crop Oc-, tober-November shipment 47s (Id; America)), new crop, 4/s. Oats. —The market is quiet and small business is doing. Argentine on spot 25s fid per quarter, August-September shinment 24s fid. Wool.—Tim market remains firm.
