FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY. MARKET REPORT. On Monday at Okaiawa yards, there was a small yarding of stock, and everything was sold under the hammer at late rates. At Eltham yards on Wednesday we held our usual fortnightly sale. There was a full muster of stock; competition was keen, and prices were slightly higher than late sales. We quote: Small fat bullocks £lO 5s Od to .€l4 3s, fat cows £8 Ss to £ll !)s, fresh conditioned cows £7 to £7 17s Gd, forward cows £0 to £(• 17s, store cows £4 13s to £5 12s, boners £3 to £4, 2 to 24-ypar-old steers £5 to £5 10s, yearling steers £2 12s to £2 ISs, empty heifers £3 3s to £3 10s, yearling heifers £2 Ss to £2 15s for the best, others IDs to £2, dairy cows £0 to £fl 10s, heifers £-1 12s (id to £B, store pigs 275, wcaners 13s to 17s each. At Hawcra yards on Thursday, 19th insfc., we had a large yarding of cattle and the demand was good throughout. The fat cows sold at from £!) 10s to £lO 13s, fresh conditioned cows £7 to £7 13s, forward cows £3 4s to £(i l!)s, store cows £5 to £ti, empty heifers £3 12s Gd to £4 14s, boners £3'l2s to £4, 2K and 3-year-old steers £G 7s Gd to £8 18s, 18-months to 2-year-old steers £2 15s to £3 4s, other steers 33s to £2 3s, best yearling heifers £2 (is to £2 12s, others 25s (id to £2, bulls £5 to £8 10s. The sheep yarded were in average numbers, prices advancing on late quotations. Best wethers sold to 38s Id, others 32s to 37s Gd, ewes 20s to 3Js, fat hoggets 24s 8d to 295, store hoggets las 4d to 22s fld, f.m. ewes in lamb 21s to 28s, others 18s to 21s fld. Pigs came forward in full supply, and sold well. Breeding sows at from "£2 10s to £3 2s Gd, store pigs 22s Gd to 30s, wcaners Ss fid to 17s, porkers to £2. Dairy cattle also penned in large numbers, and sold at fully late rates. Cows sold at from £7 10s to £9 15s, best heifers £9 to £ll, othors £4 to £S 17s fid. At Kaponga yards on Friday, 20th inst. we had a good entry of stock, and prices showed a further advance, and, with the exception of a few dairy heifers, the whole yarding changed hands. Dairy cows sold at from £8 to £fl ss, heifers £0 to £0 10s, fat cows £8 las to £lO lis light-weights, fresh conditioned cows £7 5s to £8 ss, forward cows £G us to £7, store cows £5 to £(i, aged and poor cows £3 to £4 15s, calves 20s to 38s Gd, bulls £(i 17s Gd. store pigs 25s to 30s, weaners 13s to £lO Gs. Sundries sold at ruling rates.
