INGLEWOOD BEATS WITIORA. A competition was played yesterday between the Witiora and Inglewood Clubs, and resulted in a win for the latter by 5 to 4, three of the games being all square. The scores (Witiora mentioned first) were:—S. J. Smith beat H. Thomson, 3 up and 2; Hamblin and Brown all square; Loftus lost to N. Sutherland, 6 down and 5; Haslam lost to. Johnston,, 1 down; Brown lost to Bridger, 7 down and 6; Smart lost to «1. Sutherland, 1 down; Coxhead beat Hart, 2 up; Vale beat Barlow, 6 up and f>; H, Smith and Marshall, all square; 15. Gilmour beat O'Carroll, 8 up and 6; Humphries beat 6. Sutherland, 2 up and 1; Stacker and Winter, all square.
