It was announced officially on Monday (say 3 a Wellington telegram) that, a message had been received from H.M.S; Pyramus to the effect that one of her New, Zealand, ratings, Alhert H.Soper, able seaman, has been wounded during operations hi which the ship has been engaged. So far as is known at present, the wound is not serious. The injured man is a son of Mr. W. H. Soper, carpenter and retired navy man, residing at Eotokauria, near Hamilton.
