THE "TURF REGISTER."

The New Zealand Turf Register for the season 1014-15 is now published, an! its appearand! will be welcomed by all followers of sport, both racing and trotting, for, with its carefully compiled reports of meetings, it is quite indispensable to the student of form, and in addition it contains a great deal of information of much value to those who take an interest in either branch of the sport This season's volume will follow the improved method that was intiodueed a few seasons ago, the result of which lias bun to make it excofdinglv handy as a work of reference. Each race is numbered. so that there is no difliculty in ascertaining a horse's performances, which aie indexed in such a manner as to show net only the wins, but also the place performances of all competitors during the past twelve months. The racing and trotting results are given in separate sutions, each with its own index, which is printed on colored paper, so (hat it is easily distinguishable from the rest < f ihe volume. In addition to this informatici referred to above, the Turf Register contains racing and trotting statistics, tables giving the winners of all important races, entries for coming events, the amended liules of Racing, lists of blood stock sales held during the season, all, combining to make up a volume that should Jind a place in an.v sportsman's library.
