At Opunake yards on Monday, oth iust., we held our usual fortnightly sale. There was a good yarding of stock, and prices were in favor of the vendors, and .with the exception of two or three 'pens all the .store cattle were disposed of. The dairy cows and heifers were harder to quit. We quote: Fat cows £0 as to CO 10.s. light fat cows and heifers £S 5s to £!>. fresh conditioned cows £7 5s to £B. forward cows £0 10s to £7 2s Od. 20-months heifers £3 10s to £3 14s, steers £4 7s fld. yearling heifers £2 os to £3, steers £2 8s to £3 ss, poorer calves, mixed sexes 10s to 335, bulls £l3. dairy cows £7 to £9 10s, heifers £5 to CS. hoggets 18s (Id, store pigs 27s to 3«i each. At Mana'a yards on Tuesday at our fortnightly sale, there was a full yarding o!" cattle and a good attendance of buyers, almost everything changing bands at fully late qnblations.
