Merinos declined a farthing to throe-farthings, except for best combings, whicli were practically unchanged. Fine erossbreds won in moderate supply, and prices were unchanged. Others were a halfpenny to n penny lower. The next auctions will be held on September ;io, The Bradford wool sales were inactive, owing to the holidays; forty-sixes brought 2(i.jd, forties 24 id. and the remainder a halfpenny lower. On Thursday at Kent road for Mr. X. T. Handle's clearing sale there was a good attendance. The dairy, cows were mixed, but met with good .competition, selling up (o CO 15s, averaging £S for the line.
