West, Up from Somerset; Mrs. A. Burrows, Alone; Miss M. Cameron, The Singer was Irish; Mr. T. Relter. Every Cloud lias a Silver Lining; Mr. Clarice, recitation; German Toleplhne Sketch; Miss D. Voullaire, plane forte solo; JJiss Burrows, Highlar.i dancinc;. Pipe music was supplied .V: ';:•:•"' S.-tter by Mr. A. Burrows.

Dancing was then indulged in until midnight, w.lien the presentations were made by Mr. E. Oain. These took the form of a beautiful silver-mounted pipe to each of the ■recruits—namely: Messrs. h. Horton, J. Munio, IT. Miiliro, 0. Thomas and .M. Sullivan. Owing to a business engagement, Mr. T. Coupe was unable to attend, but his present was reserved' for him. Mr. Sullivan made a neat reply, and hoped that they would enjoy many a good smoke in the trenches, and would be reminded of all kind friends every time they had to "cadge a fill of tobacco." After supper, dancing was resumed, and kept going till the "wee ama' hoors." Messrs. Angus Bell and M. Tynan were efficient and obliging masters'of'ceremonies, and kept things going with a swing. Mr. and Mrs. A. Sullivan supplied the music in their usual finished style.

Mr. E. Cain headed the list for wounded with £2O.
