STRATFORD GOLF CLUB.

The semi-finals of the Men's Senior Championship—P. Wright, against Abraham and 0. Wright against Dunlop—wore plaved on Thursday with the result that' P. Wright ami C Wright won. In the first match, after seven holes, Wright was 3 up, when Abraham halved the eighth in five with a splendid putt —halved the ninth in three again with a good putt, leaving Wright .'1 up at thiT turn. Abraham then halved the first with ii well-played three, won ttie second with a perfect four. Wright just missing a putt to halve. The third fell to Wright with a five, the next was halved in live, the fifth won by Wright in four. At the crossing Abraham drove .badly, and Wright, being on the green in four, lay dead with his fifth, and going out in six he won the match, (i up ami :>. The scores for the first, round were: Wright 41, Abraham 4.i. and for the next six holes: Wright 2S. Abraham 3d. The other match was.only decided on the law, green. Hot!) did the. first round in -CI, leaving Diuih*,! 1 up, but Wright got level at the next hole and was down 2 at the eighth, which Dunlop won with an excellent four, being on the green with his second. The last hole was halved in 4, -thus making Wright 1 up. ■the scores being: Wright 89, Dunlop fl'l. On August 10. mixed foursomes will be plaved for prizes presented bv Mr. A. V. Grant.
