\ THE EMPIRE. The ninth series of Selig's sensational wild animal drama, "The Adventures of Kat'hlyn" will be presented with tftie change of programme at the Empire Theatre to-night. This chapter of the story deals with Kathlyn's attempt to. secure the freedom of her sister Winnie, who is lield in captivity by Umiballah, the infamous Indian rajah. The episodes are realistic and thrilling, while the staging is on a sumptuous scale. Supporting items include ''The Prize Baby" (comic), "The Bear's Omelette" (Ones cartoon), ''The King's Move in the City" (Edison feature drama), "Her Winning Punch" and "Fatty' and Mabel's Wash Day" (Keysone comedies) and "The Topical Budget," containing latest war news. ROYAL PICTURES. Two star films adorn Saturday's new programme of Koyal Pictures. One is a, 2000 ft comedy 'by Keystone, entitled, "The Home Breakers." The story pursnes its gay career amidst screams of merriment. It is the most spontanco" comedy that has been filmed by the celebrated Keystone company. Walrus and Ambrose are tilie source of continuous laughter. The other star film is Vitagraph's sympathetic and romantic drama. "In Tier Mother's Footsteps." Supporting gems include: "A 3lod»i Wife" (Kalem farce). "The False and the True" (a Charming drama/, "The Allies' 1 Ononis" (comical cartoons), "It Happen|cd on Wash-day" (comedy), and the latest "Topical Budget," containing recent I war news.
