At a meeting of directors of the Egmont Box Company, held at the conclusion of the annual meeting", Mr. J. B. Murdoch was elected chairman. The directors placed on record their binccrc regret at the defeat of Mr. Marx for-a seat on the directorate, and also recorded their very high appreciation of the most, valuable work he so capaiilv performed whilst chairman and managing director.
