Vigor Brown, member for Napier, lias asked the Minister of Defence whether the (government will recognise the reserve by in solve way amending the Defence Act so that the members will be pla-eed on a nwwe satisfactory footing than at present. The reason for Mr. Brown's question is that lie fears unless his suggestion is carried out the movement will not be svtecessfu}.
