FARMERS' FREEZING WORKS.
COMPANY GOES TO ALLOTMENT. The Taranaki Meat Freezing Company Ims proceeded t 0 allotment, and everything connected with the company is progressing in a highly satisfactory mannel. That portion of the machinery with which a delay might occur has been ordered from England, so that the works will be in a position to start about February 1 ncx t. The directors have held up the plans for the buildings •ii a l eV> P en<lin e 8,1 interview with the Railway Department in Wellington as to the proposed siding, but it is not anticipated that any serious delay will result therefrom. Plans for the building are in a forward state, and it is expected that in about a fortnight's time tenders will he let. Although the directors have proceeded to allotment further share* stall ba allotted.
