THE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. TUKAPA v. HAWEKA. Tlie play-off for the Provincial Championship, which takes place to-day at Stratford should provide an interesting game. For the first time for many years the southern division will be represented by Il'awera, whilst Tukapa will do battle for (he- northern division, and will endeavor to wrest the championship from the south, where it has been held by cither Waimate or Okaiawa for the past few years. A fast, spectacular game should result, as each team will plure most reliance on its back division, thus making the game open. Hawera backs include players of the calibre of Roberts, Robertson, Tworaey, and Colman, whilst Tukapa include Lovcridge, Martin, Coutts, and Skipper. TARANAKI REPRESENTATIVES. The Taranaki representative team will leave for Auckland by Ihe P.arawa tonight to fulfil its engagement with the Auckland representative team on Saturday.
