Sydney, July 31, At the Horse Show Mr. Charles Greentree's New Zealand-bred Baron Clutha won the four-year-.old Clydesdale class, and was also awarded the premium of £IOO for the best draught stallion, the judge remarking that if it had been ft question of awarding the championship he would have chosen the same owner's New Zealand-bred Prince Ronald, which won the three-year-old Clydesdale class, in which Mr, E. Hall's New Zealand-bred General Douglas was second. NEW SOUTH WALES REVENUE. Sydney, August 2. The July revenue decreased £50,000 on that of July, 1914. AN EARTHQUAKE RECORD. I Sydney, August 2. An earthquake lasting for three hours was recorded at River View. It was 5370 miles distant, probably in Assam. ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP ABANDONED. Sydney, August 2. The Amateur Athletic Association has abandoned all its Australasian championships.
