Great interest was manifested in the football match between Hawera and K-i----ponga, which was played at Okaiawa on Saturday afternoon. The previous Satnr-. day the same teams met, and the game ended in a draw. The result of Saturday's match was: llawcra 13 poinTs am] Kaponga 9 points. The game was very well and evenly contested, and, after all, there is very little to pick and choose between the teams.
