Results: Rugby.—College Rides beat Citv, 9 to 0; Marist Bros. Old Boys beat J'oiisonliy, 3 to nil; University won by default fro';.,' Paniell. League.—The final of the senior championship resulted in a win for Grafton, which beat City by 11 points to 5. Asoeiation.—Brotherhood beat Y.M. C.A., 7 to nil; North Shore and Tabernacle drew, 1 each"; Ewrton won by default from Adult School. HAWKRA BEATS KAPOXGA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Great interest was manifested in the football match between Hawera and K-i----ponga, which was played at Okaiawa on Saturday afternoon. The previous Satnr-. day the same teams met, and the game ended in a draw. The result of Saturday's match was: llawcra 13 poinTs am] Kaponga 9 points. The game was very well and evenly contested, and, after all, there is very little to pick and choose between the teams.
The seven aside football tournament that was arranged to be played nexi Thursday in aid of the Wounded Soldiers Fund has been postponed until a later date owing to other attraction.-, having been arranged for that date In Taranaki centres, from which teams would bo drawn.
