TO DAY'S CONFKKKX.'K. (By Telegram Special to News.) Wellington, taut Night. Both the Prime Minister and the l eader of the Opposition have had interviews with the (iovernor during the laijt twenty-four lionrs, presmntttyy iu lotinection with to-morrow's conference. They naturally decline to su/ anything on the subject, but it is understood that each leader will lie accompanied by two member* of his party. The I rime .Minister will take the Hon. Jas. Allen and one other Minister, possibly I Ton. Sir I'rancis Midi, and the Lender of the Opposition will be accompanied by lion. Dr. McXab and Mr. 0. \V. Russell, Speculation regarding the result of the conference seems idle, ill the absence of information regarding Lord Liverpool's plan. Tlie party leaders havo failed definitely to reach an agreement, j\ml they have no further proposition of their own to make. They will go to lioverninent House to-morrow as listen'■rs.
