For driving vehicles at night without lights Kenneth Frederick Andrews and Morton Gladstone Tuck were each lined £1 and costs .CI l'is 8(1. Kim was fined £1 and costs .CI lis Sd for a similar offence. Herbert William Ughtband was fined 10s and costs 7s for riding a motor bicycle without a number. DEFENCE CASES. The following cases were dealt with under the Defence Act, Sergeant-Major Hesp prosecuting:— George. Edward Kendall, for failing to attend drill, whs fined CI and costs 7s in default seven days' military detention in Wellington barraclcß. Harry Edward Hill, same, £l, costs 7s, in default 7 days' military detention in barracks at Wellington. Norman N. Healy, same, fined X.2. costs 7s, in default 4 days' military detention in barracks at iVolliiigton. Samuel F.dwarl imwke saire, fined £l, costs 7s, in default 7 days' military detention in barracks at Wellington. Samuel Edward Ilawke, failing to attend camp, fined C2, costs 7s, in default 14 days' military detention in barracks at Wellington.
Harold MeKoiina, failing to attcnl camp, fined Ci, costs 7s. in default II days' military detention in barracks at Wellington. George Garland Ncwull, failing to attend drill, lined £l, costs 7s. in default 7 days' military detention in barracks ;il Wellington.
