It was eventually decided, in respect of relief, that the 'branches be empowered to grant relief and benefit to New Zealand wounded, incapacitated or necessitous soldiers or sailors, and those in any way dependent upon them. It was agreed, on the suggestion of Mr. Parr, that in the administration of funds two or more branches may co-operate. Special relief cannot be granted By a branch beyond the sum of £IOO, without the consent of the executive committee.
