Spanish politicians, professors, and intellectuals hivve issued a manifesto saying thev cannot remain unmoved at the pangs with which the world is torn, but stand firm on the side of the Allies. They represent the ideals of liberty and justice, and hope that peace will destroy domination and devilish brutality and lay the foundation of a new fraternity, directed towards the preservation of reason and justice.
