Rome is informed of a serious strike in Hungary, which necessitated the recall of fifteen thousand troops from the Italian frontier. Six regiments have occupied Lcibenitz. which is in a state of siege.
ITALIAN COAST BOMBARDED. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE. % " Received July 20, L3O a..m. Amsterdam, July 25. An Austrian communique say-.: We completely repulsed the Italian 'attacks on Doberdo 'Plateau, which are weakening. Yesterday, near Selz, the enemy penetrated part of our trenches, but a counter-attack drove him out. Our cruisers shelled along the Italion coast for 100 .kilometres, and damaged several railway stations. Those at San Benellitto and Orottomora were set on lire, and many locomotives and waggons were wrecked. The water tower and several buildings at Ortona were destroyed, and a tugboat was sunk.
ON THE ISONZO. LAST AUSTRIAX FORT ISOLATED. Received July 25, 3.40 p.m. Rome, July i-\. The Stampa's correspondent siiys that Fort Polpgra is the only point the Austrians hold on the right bank of the Isonzo. It is completely isolated, and despite the garrison's sortie-, it is believed its fall is imminent. Official: The battle continues on the whole of the Isonzo front, and our success is constantly, mote apparent. The Austrians, after a terrible artillery fire, made a. masßed attack on our front on the left at Carso. The Austrian!) yesterday endeavored to advance in force against our right at. Carlo, ibut he 'was obliged to withdraw, with heavy losses. An army order found on prisoners shows that the attack we repulsed on July 22 was in the nature of a general nction for the purpose of dislodging our left .wing, and it wae made by freshly arrived troops.
