All races to be run undor the Rules ol New Zealand Trotting. The winner of any raee after the decimation of handicaps may be rc-bandi-rapped. No entry will be received for any race except on the condition that all disputes, claims and objections arising from the carrying out of this programme, shall be decided by the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final, subject !tu appeal to the Association, except on questions of fact. With all nominations the name, color, sex, age and pedigree, and the last three j performances, and the horse's best time, I and the names and addresses of the owner ,ind trainer MUST be given. The colors of rider or driver must be sent in at time of nomination, failing which u line of £1 will be enforced. Telegraphed nominations must be confirmed in writing, with all particulars, by the following mail. No horse, will be allowed to start unless all fees are paid. Riders and drivers must appear in prov per costume or they will bo fined. This: rule will be strictly enforced. All protests must be made in writing) and be in the hands of the Secretary within 10 minutes of the decision of the race, and accompanied by a deposit of £-3, to be forfeited if the protest hi dismissed. By the entry of or endeavoring to. cater a horse every person baving, or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these rules, and to be barredi from questioning the action or conduct of the club, or other body holding a sports meeting, or of any official of the club, or such other body in respect of such horse, or of any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided for in part XXX. XOTE.—Every horse must be registered with the Association prior to nomination in anv race. Any unregistered horse shall be disqualified. The fee for retitration is ilOs. Before any horse can start the Provident Fund fee of 5s must be paid otherwise the horse will be disqualified for the race. All trainers, riders and drivers must be licensed *y the Association.
