By Telegraph.—Press Association. i'almcrston X., Yesterday. .Lord Liverpool's .Regiment this mornin<j evacuated the Show Grounds and Racecourse and occupied the camp at Rangiotu. Jt is unite evident that the change lias stopped the epidemic, as the men left in splendid fettle and no eases of sieCnoss have been reported to-day. Colonel (Jibbons, chiofof-stafT, inspected the camp, which is in almost perfect condition. TRI'XTII'AM DISIiASK IOKSTIFIED. Dnncilin, Yesterday. Dr. Champtuloiip and J)r. 'Howie have retiuned from Wellington after visiting Trcntham to inquire into the nature of the disease in camp. Questioned, Or. Ohamptnloup said he had definitely diag. nosed the di.-ease and had -prepared a report, lie had no puhlic statement to make and could not indicate the nature of the di-ease. Asked whether it had occurred in Xcv-' Zealand before, he replied in the affirmative, and added that the disease was not peculiar to Trentlmni. having occurred, in military camps in Great Tlrftain and oil the Continent.
