SHEARERS' WAGES.
AX AGREEMENT ARRIVED AT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Slieepowners' Federation to-day met the executive of the New Zealand Shearers' Union, and discussed the slu>d hands' awards, A complete settlement was arrived at, and the new agreement will have a currency of two years. The old conditions of employment are practically renewed, but the men are granted an increase of live shillings per week in wages, which now range from 32s <kl to 1)2 weekly, and found. The Shearen' Union is to take action to embody the agreement in an award.
