On Thursday, July 1, we held a clearing sale for Mr. K. Kapperley, Pih&ma, of live and dead stock. There was an extra large attendance of buyers, and high prices were obtained. The dairy cows were in good condition, and sold at from £l2 to £ls 10s for the best, others from £S 15s to £ll 10s, the herd averaging £lO Is.
