Dairy cows sold at from £lO to £l2, fat cows £" 15a to £8 2s Gd, forward cows £5 5s to £(i, boners £3 3s (id to £4, yearling to 18-month heifers £2 5s to £2 13s, weanera 13a to 30s. On Saturday, June 26th, we hold a clearing sale for Mrs, Hatcher, of Manaia, live and dead stock. There was a good attendance and a most satisfaewere'sold at from £l2 to £ lit, others £0 18s to £ll, heifers £4 2s (id to £li 15s, empty cows £4 to £5 ss. horses £i) to £ls, 'drill £ll, roller £l4 -is, milk cans lis (id to 20s each, other sundries sold at satisfactory prices. At Mr. K. Dean's Ngaere clearing sale on .(line 20 there was a good attendance, and everything was sold at fully late sales. I'i out's sale. There was a fair, attendance, and prices were the same as late sales. On Wednesday, June 30, we held a clearing sale of Mr. H, Lock ley's (Pihama) dairy cows, horses, etc. There was a good attendance, and the cows sold exceptionally well. Best cows sold at from £lO to £l3 10s, others £(» 10s to £9 15s, empty £3 to £5 ss, medium draught horses £ls to £2O, a pair o; light harness horses realised ,£25 each, turkeys 5s Cd each, and sundries at ruling rates. On Thursday, July 1, we held a clearing sale for Mr. K. Kapperley, Pih&ma, of live and dead stock. There was an extra large attendance of buyers, and high prices were obtained. The dairy cows were in good condition, and sold at from £l2 to £ls 10s for the best, others from £S 15s to £ll 10s, the herd averaging £lO Is. Fat cows £(i 7s (id to £S 19s, pigs to £3, horses £(i ,'w to £22, calves £2 2s, plough £l2 ss, dray £ls 15s, gig £l2 10s, harness £3 12s (id, mower £5 15s. These were some of the prices realised. The other sundries sold at high rates. On Friday, July 2, at the llawera yards, we held a sale of Mr. A. ('. Johnstone's, Auroa, and .Mr. W. Tait's, Auroa. pedigree Ayrshire cattle. There was a lair attendance, and competition wj;' not too keen. Mr. A. C. Johnstone's tinvt sold at from 22jrns. to :!lgiis. for the best. The others lOgns. to 21gils. Mr. W. Tail: lleifers 4gns. to lllgns. On Monday. July 5, at Tnaha. we held , a clearing sale for Mr. J. Silvester of I live and dead stock. The attendance , whs good, and a satisfactory sale was held.
