There were somo careless golfsrs playing on the New Plymouth Club'slinks last Saturday, and they left a recard of their thoughtlessness on several greens. Several greens were mnch marked by players who had been careless In walking and standing too close to the holes, and on the eighteenth green the hoi# had been; completely trodden on and part of the hole had caved in. Players should remember, especially when the greens are sodden, to stand well away from the holes.
