'' 1 Hor«H>wne», trainerf and ptherf Interested in the North Taranaki Hunt meeting to bo hold on the New Plymouth racecourse on Thursday, July 20, are reminded that entries far all evonls close to-night at 9 p.m. This Is the first totalisator rftfce Meeting to bo held by the North Taranaki Club, and a generous programme is offered. The seven events earded include four hunters' races and three for hacks. The latter events in particular should fill well. Mr. Goo. Morse will declare the weights for the gathering, and the starting will be attended to by Mr, Q, O'Connor. The various raeee are as follows; —Hunters' Handicap Flat Race, of 30 sovs., one mile and a quarter; Stratford Hack Handicap, of 45 sots, five furlongs; Lady's Bracelet Maiden Steeple, of 25 sovs and a, bracelet valued at 10 sovs, about two miles; Waihi Hack Handicap, of 45 sovs, seven furlongs; North Taranaki Hunt Cup Steeple, of 100 sovs and a eup valued at 20 sovs (donated by tho Taranaki Jockey Club - ', about three miles; Lepperton Hunters' Handicap Hurdles, of 40 sovs, one mile and a half; Opunako Hack Scurry, of 45 sovs,, five furlongs.
