Woodyatt, for forgery and false preIn the Supreme Court, Tveonard Woodyatt, for forgery and false pretentes at Wanganui, was admitted to 'probation on the. eondition that he did not enter a hotel nor drink alcohol. He was ordered to pay £5 'towards the costs of the •prosecution, and, after a month, 30s towards the support of his wife and child. (ieorge Brown, for forgery and uttering, wa,s sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Catherine Clouston, for false, declaration of birth, was admitted to probation. 1 Albert Si.mkins, for breaking; and entering, received six months' imprisonment. Kathleen Barry, for forgery of the signature of 'Mrs. White, ipostmistress at Stoke, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
