A process by which the germination of seed is ([uickened and vigorous plant growth promoted has been tried for some time in England with considerable success. The essence of the process consists in the electrolytic treatment of seed immersed in a tank containing a Solution of chemical fertiliser, and the value of the treatment has been revealed in niearly every case in rjuantity and ipiality of grain.
