[ Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Odice as under: For Auckland and north, per steamer Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m., and daily per train, at <US a.m. For Wellington and south, daily at 0.15 a.m. and 12.50 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily at 0.12 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 THURSDAY, JULY 1. Parcel mail for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, and South Anierics at 5 p.m. FRIDAY, JULY 2. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (for specially addressed correspondence, marked "via Monte Video" only); also TeneriU'c and South America at 0.15 a.m. MONDAY, JULY 5. For Australian Slates, South Africa, China, and Straits Settlements, via Auckland, at (i.15 a.m. For Kara tonga and Tahiti, via Auckland, at 0.15 a.m. N.B. —Mails sent via Suez are subject to heavy delay, and under ordinary circumstances arrive in London later than mails despatched from New Zealand by the next Vancouver or San Francisco stuimer Only specially-addressed correspondence is now sent via Suez. The times for closing mails for places beyond the Dominion are liable,V.o alteration (earlier or later).
