QUIET AXD COXEIDEXT PEOPLE. THE EXGLSIH 'WELL TREATED. Received Julv 1, 10.1.7 p.m. London, July 1. An Englishman who left Constantinople in the middle of June says; "Kuod supplies were dear, hat there were relatively plentiful stores. There was a shortage of coal. It was untrue that a condition of panic existed among the population. There was a considerable number of German officers in the city, hut no German troops, excepting the Goeben and liresiau marines. The Turks were more confident than the Germans regarding the future. They treat tiie English residents well.
